Jungle Rockers

My friends the Jungle Rockers have asked me to do the cover of thier CD. "Shake it with the Jungle Rockers"
Good Early 60s rockabilly. Here is the logo I made for them.

KISS

The latest work is a swipe of the Rock and Roll Over cover. Changing the men to women and making them fit each of the Texas Rollergirl teams. Then I took some photos from Celesta Danger and kissafied them.

Currently listening/musical influences

Much of my art is influenced by music. I prefer to have something playing while I work.

This is brand new stuff from a couple of guys that used to be in One Man Army out of SF. Brilliant stuff.
Also on the list
Backyard Babies
US Bombs
Bombshell Rocks
Early Man
Riverboat Gamblers.

Those are in heavy rotation on the ipod.

Latest work

Here is a poster I did for the Texas Rollergirls. Its probably the most recent work.

I drew up the "tank girlesque Dorothy on a piece of bristol then did all of the color layer in Photoshop.
the final size of the piece was 9 x 20"
Silkscreening was done by foundry in Austin Texas.

Intro

So for as long as I could remember I loved to draw. Occasionally I made a few bucks here and there, and decided that maybe I should start a blog and post art and the like. As far as the name of this blog it comes from a Hellacopters song.
The line is "I may not look like jagger, may not have money in the bank, I got a pair of cheap sunglasses and my castles may be made out of sand, but hey I'm in the band" So I guess what I am saying is that I may not be Warhol, but an artist none the less.
